Item: Bond Waiver - Arlington Heights Historical Society

BACKGROUND

The Arlington Heights Historical Society is requesting a waiver of the bond fee requirement for three upcoming raffles, as follows:

  1. A small raffle to coincide with their 22nd Annual House Walk & Tea.  Tickets will be sold the day of the event, June 28th from 12:00pm - 5:00pm.
  2. The "Wee Bit of Irish" raffle will take place on July 18th at 8:45pm. Tickets will be sold at the House Walk & Tea on June 28th from 12:00pm - 5:00pm, at Irish Fest July 17th, from 4:00pm -10:00pm, and July 18th, from 3:00pm - 8:45pm.
  3. A small raffle will be held at the Motoring at the Museum event on September 20, 2015.  Tickets will be sold from 12:00pm - 3:00pm the day of the event.

 

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Village Board grant a waiver of the bond fee requirements for all three raffles.
