The Village has received several requests to change the existing two-way yield signs to stop signs at the intersection of Pine Ave and George St.  Previous data collected at the intersection was re-evaluated for vehicle volumes, accidents, and intersection conditions to determine if the warrant was met.  Based upon the results, it is recommended that the the yield signs be changed to stop signs, for Pine Ave traffic to stop for George St.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that an Ordinance Designating a Two-Way Stop Street, with Pine Avenue to stop for George Street, be approved.
