Background

The Arlington Park District is requesting a waiver of the planning and building permit fees at Green Slopes Park, 1337 N Belmont Avenue, for tennis court renovations anticipated to begin mid-June, 2021 .   The project will include removal and replacement of sections of sidewalk and the current tennis courts.  Two new tennis courts and four pickle ball courts with two bang boards will be installed.  

Estimated cost of the permit fee waiver:  $6,000.00

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board grant the Arlington Heights Park District a waiver of the permit fees related to the project at 1337 N Belmont Avenue, with the exception of any out of pocket fees.
