At the March 15 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement in the case of Joseph Mangiamele v. Village of Arlington Heights.  This suit was filed by Joseph Mangiamele after he tripped and fell on a sidewalk on Ridge Avenue, causing a tear in his right knee medial meniscus.

Settlement was reached in the amount of $32,500, which is within the authority given by the Board.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the settlement in the case of Joseph Mangiamele v. Village of Arlinton Heights in the amount of $32,500 and authorize the execution of all necessary documents to effectuate the settlement.
