The Village was contacted regarding issues with vehicles parking near a driveway and fire hydrant in the dead end of North Orchid Lane to access Lake Arlington.  It was also brought to the attention of the Engineering Department that North Cherry Hill Drive from Jonquil Terrace north to the dead end is posted “no parking” on both the east side and west side without an ordinance.  The proposed ordinance corrects the existing no parking signage on North Cherry Hill Drive and establishes a section of no parking along the west side of North Orchid Lane.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that an Ordinance Prohibiting Parking on portions of North Orchid Lane and Cherry Hill Drive, be approved.
