Requested Action

 

Special Use Permit for a Banquet Hall in the B-2 zoning district.

RECOMMENDATION

 

A public hearing was held by the Plan Commission on June 23, 2021 where Commissioner Drost moved and Commissioner Sigalos seconded:

 

A motion to recommend to the Village Board of Trustees, approval of PC#21-008, a Special Use Permit for the Hiding Place Banquet Hall in the B-2 zoning district.

 

This recommendation is subject to the following conditions:

 

1. For outdoor seating, the petitioner shall provide a minimum separation of 5-feet between the outdoor tables and the edge of the sidewalk (or other obstructions).

 

2. Banquet hall indoor capacity shall be limited to 145 guests/patrons.

 

3. The petitioner shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Village codes, regulations and policies.

 

Roll call vote:  Commissioners Drost, Ennes, Green, Jensen, Lorenzini, Sigalos, and Chair Dawson voted in favor.  Motion carried.
