The 2021 Metropolis Theater capital budget includes funds to replace the flooring on the theater floor and second floor hallways and offices. A Request for Proposals was dutifully advertised and proposals were opened on July 1^st, 2021. The following proposals were received:

Metropolis has worked with Comfloorx in the past and has been satisfied with their quality of work. The vendor has been determined to be responsible and the bid meets specifications.

Funds for the project are available in account 515-2005-525.50-55.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board award the Metropolis Flooring Replacement contract to Comfloorx of Itasca, IL in the amount of $39,995.00 and authorize Staff to execute the necessary documents.
