Since the passage of Ordinance 2021-034 on August 16, 2021, which prohibits parking on the East side of North Wilshire Lane between Eastman Street and Euclid Avenue, there have been requests by residents to modify the ordinance to allow parking when the park is not in use.  A compromise has been reached to modify the ordinance to be effective between April 1 and October 31 annually, when the nearby park is in use for youth baseball. 

The attached ordinance reflects the change and repeals Ordinance 2021-034.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that an Ordinance Prohibiting Parking on the East side of North Wilshire Lane between Eastman Street and Euclid Avenue, between April 1 and October 31, be approved.
