Renewal of Cable Television Franchise Agreement

Federal and State Law requires that the Village hold a public hearing prior to the approval of a new Cable Franchise Agreement. This hearing provides an opportunity for the public to comment on the franchise agreement itself prior to approval. The agreement, with Comcast of Illinois XI, LLC relates to their operation and maintenance of a cable television system with the municipal boundaries of the Village of Arlington Heights and provides for standards and remedies for any disputes.  The term of the agreement is 10 years
