On April 29th, 2020, the Village awarded Galls LLC a contract to provide uniforms for the Fire Department.  This is a one-year contract with the option to renew for two, one-year extensions.

Per Village Policy, contracts can be extended with Board approval, up to the original terms of the contract.  This would be the second of two possible extensions.

The Fire Department received a request from Galls LLC to increase the amount equal to the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for December of 2021 which is 5.8%.  The Fire Department negotiated with Galls LLC an increase of 2.8%, which both parties accepted.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board award a one-year contract extension with the 2.8% price increase to Galls LLC which will extend the term to April 29, 2023.
