The Engineering Department has received numerous requests for All Way Stop Signs at the intersection of E Miner St & N Belmont Ave. In order to determine if the intersection should have an all way control, we reviewed:

• Counts collected at the intersection of N Belmont Ave & E Miner St on August 6 and August 7, 2021;
• Crash data from the last five years;
• Speed survey done in January 2022

The results of the study confirmed that the high volume of the vehicular and pedestrian traffic near the park warrant the installation of All Way Stop Signs.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that an Ordinance Designating an All Way Stop Street at E Miner Street and N Belmont Street, be approved.
