The attached ordinance extends the Cannabis Pilot Program now set to expire on March 31st to June 30, 2022. This extension will allow Staff to draft an updated ordinance based on the direction given by the Village Board at the February 21st meeting. As changes to the zoning code will be required, the Plan Commission will also have to be consulted on the change before a final vote of the Village Board.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that an Ordinance Extending the Adult Use Cannabis Dispensing Organization Pilot Program to June 30, 2022, be approved.
