The Fire Department has an existing 5-year contract with Andres Medical Billing, which was entered into on Jan. 1^st, 2018 and is set to expire on Jan. 1^st, 2023. This contract is for the administration of all Ambulance Billing for the Fire department. Andres Medical Billing receives 3.2% of the net revenue collected each month for completion of the work in accordance with this agreement.

Per Village Policy, contracts can be extended with Village Board Approval, up to the original terms of the contract. This would be the first request for extension.

The Fire Department has been satisfied with Andres Medical Billing and the services they provide. Andres Medical Billing has agreed to extend the contract for one year at the same 3.2% of net revenue collected monthly with all other parameters of the contract remaining the same.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board award a one-year contract extension to Andres Medical Billing, Ltd. At the existing 3.2% of net revenue collected monthly and to run through Jan 1^st, 2024.
