Presentation of the 2023 Disability Employment Award to Gerry's Cafe by the Commission for Citizens with Disabilities.

The Commission for Citizens with Disabilities is charged with promoting the issues and concerns of citizens with disabilities.  October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the many contributions of America's workers with disabilities.  The Disability Employment Awareness Award is presented annual to an Arlington Heights employer who proactively recruits, hires and employs persons with disabilities.  2023 marks the 15^th year the Commission has hosted the Disability Employment Awareness Award.  The Commission is honored to recognize Gerry’s Café as the 2023 award winner.
