The Village’s current Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system, formally SunGard HTE and now CentralSquare Technologies, was purchased in 1996. This software provides base internal service activities such as accounting, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, cash receipts and permitting.
In September 2021, the Village entered into an agreement with Tyler Technologies to replace the Village’s legacy ERP system, HTE. The implementation for the new ERP system began in January 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in the 2nd quarter of 2024. While the Village will be transitioning to the new ERP system, it is necessary to renew the current ERP maintenance support agreement for a one-quarter term (Q1 2024) with Superion/CentralSquare Technologies. This will allow continuity of operations and testing while the new ERP is being implemented. The agreement would run from January 1, 2024 through March 31, 2024.
Superion/CentralSquare Technologies is the sole provider for the HTE software and equipment. Funds are available and budgeted in 625-0601-520390.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Village Board approve a one-quarter software and maintenance agreement with Superion,LLC a CentralSquare Company, Lake Mary, FL in the amount of $58,558.90.
