The proposed improvements for the U.S. Route 14 & Wilke Road Intersection require temporary and permanent easements from several property owners. All temporary easements had been agreed to by the respective property owners. The property owners, and the offer agreed to for the temporary easements, are listed below:
- SRAK Properties (Dakota K's) $20,000.00 (1804 W. Northwest Hwy.)
- Jae Yew & June Yew (Kustom Kleen) $8,300.00 (1008 N. Wilke Rd.)
- Phyllis DeBlasio (Apartment Complex) $2,500.00 (1012 N. Wilke Rd.)
To proceed, the executed agreements for the temporary easements would need to be completed. This would involve the following:
- Disbursement Statement to issue the check to the respective property owners
- Execute the following documents, to be recorded: Temporary Construction Easement for all three properties, and Tenant's Consent for the Apartment Complex
- Attorney Certification Letter for all three properties
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Village Board authorize the execution of the disbursements listed for the combined amount of $30,800.00 and the supporting documentation to proceed with the temporary easements. Funding for this project is available in account 401-5001-571-5030 SG0802.
