Ordinance Amending SWANCC Agreement and Bylaws

The Village is a member of the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) and has entered into an intergovernmental agreement with other municipalities to form the Agency. The Board of Directors and Management of SWANCC would like to update the bylaws of the agency to make it clear that members of the Board of Directors and their alternatives need to be explicitly named by each municipality.

The attached Ordinance would amend the member agreement to make that change to the bylaws. The Village will be updating its list of Director/Alternative Directors with a separate resolution

Approval of an Ordinance Amending the Intergovernmental Agreement establishing the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County and making changes to the Agencies Bylaws.
