The property owners of 3115 N. Ellen Drive have requested to voluntarily annex their property into the Village.  The property currently has a failed septic system and the owners desire to connect to the Village's sewer system.  The property is currently located in unincorporated Cook County and is adjacent to the Village on the south and west property lines.  The required Annexation Petition and the Plat of Annexation are also attached.

The Village Attorney has reviewed the attached annexation ordinance and staff recommends approval.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the 3115 N Ellen Drive annexation, plat of annexation and attached ordinance, and authorize the Village Manager to execute the necessary documents.
