Background

Second City Canine Rescue is requesting a waiver of the bond requirement for their upcoming summer fundraiser to be held at the Chez Hotel banquet facility on August 18, 2024.  Tickets will be sold online August 1st to the day of the event, August 18th, with the winner being determined at 4:00pm.    

Value of prizes:  $1,000 to $2,000 (50/50 split of tickets sold)

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board grant a waiver of the bond requirement as requested by Second City Canine Rescue.
