In November 2014, the Village Board retained Johnson Consulting to update their prior study on Metropolis, to assess options related to managing the Metropolis, and to perform an economic impact assessment of the Theater on the downtown, all for a cost not-to-exceed $24,000. Johnson was asked to do some additional work in preparing the final report, which increased the cost to the Village by $750.

It is recommended that the Village Board approve a $750 increase to the contract with Johnson Consulting.
