 BACKGROUND

 

Attached is an Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village of Arlington Heights and GovTempUSA, LLC for a work site contract employee within the Planning & Community Development Department. Due to staff reductions and increased work load, it is extremely difficult to manage the volume of work and maintain accuracy and good customer service.  Maintaining timely, quality customer service is most important.  For the 8-month budget cycle commencing May 1, 2015 funds were budgeted for contract planning work.   

 

The leased employee would work approximately 15-20 hours per week.  This is a cost effective approach to providing service to our customers.  

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Approving an Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village and GovTempUSA, LLC and authorize the Village Manager to execute that Agreement.
