The attached ordinance amends two sections of the Municipal Code relating to cannabis. The purpose of these amendments is to properly exempt activity with cannabis that is protected by the State's Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act. Accordingly, a reference to that Act has been added to the two applicable sections.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached Ordinance Amending Chapter 8 of the Arlington Heights Municipal Code.
