BACKGROUND

The current FY15B ending 12/31/15 Equipment Replacement Program fund provides for the annual replacement of Village Computer equipment.  The I.T. Division has selected Dell computers for standardizing desktop PC's, which makes the installation process uniform and cuts repair costs and replacement parts.

Bids for the following item were duly advertised and publicly opened for the purchase of 37 computers.  The bids are as follows:

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board authorize the purchase of 37 Dell Computers for a cost of $18,778.98 from Dell Marketing Inc. of Round Rock, TX.  Dell Marketing has been a vendor to the Village in the past and has been determined to be a responsible vendor.
