BACKGROUND  

Attached is an Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village of Arlington Heights and GovTempUSA, LLC for a work site contract employee within the Engineering Department. Due to staff reductions and increased work load with permit reviews, it is extremely difficult to manage the volume of work and maintain accuracy and good customer service.  For the 8-month budget cycle commencing May 1, 2015 funds were budgeted for contract engineering work. The leased employee will work approximately 15-20 hours per week.  This is a cost effective approach to providing service to our customers.   

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Approving an Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village and GovTempUSA, LLC and authorize the Village Manager to execute that Agreement.
