Background

The Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society Board is requesting a waiver of the bond fee requirement for their raffles that take place during general meetings held the first Saturday of the month at the Arlington Heights Senior Center. These meetings take place from August 28, 2015 to May 14, 2016. Raffle tickets are sold before the meetings, with the drawing soon after the meeting starts. Raffles would be held 2-3 times during the year depending on programs and availability of items.

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Village Board grant the waiver of the bond fee requirement.
