BACKGROUND

The Building Code Review Board met on April 30, 2015 for consideration of a request for a variation from the requirements of Section 23-1303(a) of the Arlington Heights Municipal Code to allow the installation of a 100 foot tall monopole antenna. Section 23-1303(a) restricts ground based antennas to a maximum of 75 feet above grade.  Section 23-1303(a) states: "No ground based antenna shall exceed 75 feet above grade level (commercial or non-commercial)."

 

RECOMMENDATION

Mr. Carrato moved, seconded by Trustee Scaletta, that the Building Code Review Board not approve the variance request.
