BACKGROUND

The Village is required to provide court reporter services for local prosecution traffic court calls that include DUI tickets. Arlington Reporting Services, the service currently being used has proven to be very reliable and the current court session rate remains reasonable. With the current amendment to the agreement expiring at the end of September, a second amendment to the current agreement is proposed. The amendment consists of a two year extension with no rate increase.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve a Resolution Approving a Second Amendment to an Agreement with Arlington Reporting Services, for a term ending September 30, 2017.
