BACKGROUND

At the August 21, 2015 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement of the workers’ compensation claim for Firefighter Michael Perkovich. Firefighter Perkovich was diagnosed with a hernia caused from lifting a roll of five inch hose when he felt pain in his abdomen and right shoulder. The settlement amount of $14,251 falls within the authorization previously granted by the Board.  

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve a settlement of $14,251 for the worker’s compensation claim of Firefighter Michael Perkovich.
