BACKGROUND

Attached is an amendment to the Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village of Arlington Heights and GovTemps USA, LLC for a work site contract employee within the Planning & Community Development Department. Due to Staff reductions and increased work load, it is extremely difficult to manage the volume of work and maintain accuracy and good customer service. Maintaining timely, quality customer service is most important. Funds were budgeted for contract planning work in the FY16 budget.

The work site contract employee would work approximately 25 hours per week as needed. This is a cost effective approach to providing service to our customers.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Approving an Amendment to the Agreement between the Village of Arlington Heights and GovTemps USA, LLC and authorize the Village Manger to execute that Agreement.
