BACKGROUND

In July, 2015, the Old Town Sanitary District, an Illinois sanitary district, was dissolved, pursuant to Public Act 99-014.  As a result of the dissolution, the District is conveying those easements that are located within the Village’s boundaries to the Village.  The attached Assignment and Assumption of Permanent Easements is necessary in order to accept  and approve the conveyance of the easement parcels.

 

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that a Resolution Accepting an Assignment and Assumption of Permanent Easement for Sanitary Sewer from the now dissolved Old Town Sanitary District, be approved.
