The State of Illinois mandated that, as of January 1, 2016, all entities designing, permitting and inspecting construction projects use the 2105 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). The Municipal Code currently references the 2009 IECC. The proposed ordinance just changes the reference to the State-mandated 2015 IECC.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached Ordinance Amending Chapter 23 of the Arlington Heights Municipal Code.
