Background

The Arlington Heights Historical Society is requesting a waiver of the bond fee requirement for three upcoming raffles as follows:

  1. A small raffle to coincide with the 23rd Annual House Walk & Tea.  Winners will be drawn at 5:00pm on June 26, 2016.
  2. The "Wee Bit of Irish" raffle - tickets will be sold at the House Walk on June 26, 2016 and at Irish Fest, July 15 & 16, 2016.  Winners will be drawn on July 16th at 8:45pm.
  3. A small raffle to coincide with the Motoring at the Museum event held on September 18, 2016.  Winners will be drawn the day of the event at 3:00pm.

 

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Village Board grant a waiver of the bond fee requirements for all three raffles.
