The property located at 511 W. Rand Road was recently approved for a memory care facility. The ordinance approving the project is on the Village Board’s agenda this evening. In 2006, the current property owner received approval from the Village Board for a parking variance for a proposed church on the property. As the property will no longer be used as a church, the parking variation is no longer necessary. In order for the sale to go forward, the title company has requested that the 2006 ordinance be repealed since the variation is not needed for the memory care facility.  Repeal will permit the developer of the memory care facility to close on the acquisition of 511 W. Rand Road.

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached Ordinance Repealing Ordinance 06-048.
