| | | The second required public hearing for the 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan is being held by the Village Board of Trustees. The 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan includes the Village’s CDBG budget for October 1, 2016 – September 30, 2017. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Village to receive final comments on the draft 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan including the CDBG budget.The Village Board will consider whether to approve the draft 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan under a later item on this agenda.
Following adoption by the Village Board, the Annual Action Plan will be submitted to Cook County. Cook County will submit the County’s 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan, the Village’s 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan, and the 2016-2017 Annual Action Plans of the other members of the Cook County HOME Consortium to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD may take up to 45 days to review the Annual Action Plans. Upon approval, HUD will provide a Grant Agreement to the Village for its Federal fiscal year 2016 CDBG entitlement funds. |
