The current Calendar Year ending 12/31/16 budget provides for the replacement of Village computer systems. The Village replacement program is designed to meet existing and new technology demands. Computer servers are refreshed on a 5-6 year cycle to provide a balance between cost and reliability. The existing Storage Area Network (SAN) located at the Village Hall was manufactured in 2009 and is reaching manufacturer’s “end-of-life” status this year. This SAN unit stores all critical applications and files that are utilized by Village employees on a daily basis.
