Requested Action

 

Special Use Permit to allow a columbarium within the R-3 District.

 

Variations Identified

 

A variation from Section 6.5-2 to allow an accessory structure within a front yard.

 

Recommendation

 

A public hearing was held by the Plan Commission on July 13, 2016 where Commissioner Dawson moved and Commissioner Sigalos seconded:

 

A motion to recommend approval to the Village Board of Trustees of PC#16-014, a Special Use Permit to allow a columbarium within the R-3 District, and a variation from from Section 6.5-2 to allow an accessory structure within a front yard, for the property located at 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road. This approval shall be subject to the following conditions:

 

1. The Petitioner shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Village Codes, Regulations, and Policies. 

 

Roll Call Vote:  Commissioners Cherwin, Dawson, Ennes, Green, Sigalos, Warskow and Chairman Lorenzini voted in favor. Motion carried.
