The current 2017 budget for the I.T. Equipment Replacement Program fund 625-0601-572-50-10 EQ9708 provides for the annual replacement of Village computer equipment. The I.T. Division has selected Dell Computers for standardizing desktop PC’s, which provides a uniform installation process and cuts repair costs and replacement parts.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board authorize the purchase of 65 Dell computers for a cost of $38,927.20 from Dell Marketing L.P., Round Rock, TX. who has met specifications and has been a responsible vendor to the Village in the past. Funds for this project are available in 625-0601-572-5010 EQ9708.
