The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency ("IEPA")performs a periodic review of municipal ordinances related to Cross-Connection Control. After a review of the Village's Code provisions last summer, the IEPA requested that we add some clarifying language to some of our Code sections. The attached ordinance satisfies the IEPA.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Ordinance Amending Chapter 21 of the Arlington Heights Municipal Code related to Cross-Connection Control.
