BACKGROUND

 

Egg Harbor Cafe, located at 140 E. Wing Street, has submitted an application for outdoor dining on the public sidewalk along Wing Street.

 

Chapter 28, Section 5.1-14.2 allows the use of public sidewalks for outdoor eating cafes subject to certain criteria.

 

Egg Harbor Cafe is proposing three four-top tables and three two-top tables which will be located along Wing Street.

 

Consistent with the requirements for delineation of outdoor dining spaces, Egg Harbor Cafe is proposing planters along Wing Street to delineate their outdoor eating area.  Egg Harbor Cafe has provided the appropriate insurance provisions.

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Approving a License Agreement with Egg Harbor Cafe.
