Background

The Arlington Heights Historical Society is requesting a waiver of the bond fee requirement for three upcoming raffles as follows:

 

  1. A small raffle to coincide with the 24th Annual House Walk.  Winners will be drawn at 5:00pm on May 21, 2017.
  2. The "Wee Bit Of Irish" raffle - tickets will be sold at the House Walk on May 21, 2017 and Irish Fest on July 14 and 15, 2017.  Winner will be drawn on July 15 at 8:45pm.
  3. A small raffle to coincide with the Motoring at the Museum.  Winners will be drawn the day of the event on September 17, 2017 at 3:00pm.

 

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Village Board grant a waiver of the bond fee requirements for all three raffles.
