At the June 5 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement in the case of Roberta Hetrick v. Village of Arlington Heights. This suit was filed by Roberta Hetrick after she tripped and fell on a sidewalk on Thurston Place, causing a cervical fracture.

Settlement was reached in the amount of $210,000, which is within the authority given by the Board.
