At the June 5, 2017 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement of the workers' compensation claim for Firefighter/Paramedic Nicholas Buchanan. Firefighter Buchanan injured his left leg and knee while walking down a flight of stairs carrying EMS equipment.

The settlement amount of $32,474.46 falls within the authorization previously granted by the Board.
