Background

Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society is requesting a waiver of the bond requirement from August 17, 2017 to May 14, 2018, for their raffles that take place during general meetings held at the Arlington Heights Senior Center. Raffle tickets will be sold before the meeting begins, with the drawing soon after the meeting starts. Raffles would be held 2-4 times during the year depending on programs and availability of items.

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Village Board grant the waiver of the bond requirement.
