The owner of the property located at 825-905 W. University Drive would like to expand the parking lot on their property. Village Code requires a three foot high screen to buffer parking areas. The owner has asked to install the required landscaping on 2.5 feet of the Village parkway adjacent to the parking lot, in order to maximize the spaces that can go in the lot. Public Works Staff has reviewed the request and has no concerns with granting the easement for landscaping.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Granting an Easement for Landscaping Purposes for the 2.5 feet of University Drive right-of-way adjacent to 825-905 W. University Drive.
