On March 6, 2017, the Village Board adopted an Ordinance Prohibiting the Use of Groundwater as a Potable Water Supply by the Installation or Use of Potable Water Supply Wells or by any Other Method for the area at and adjacent to 5-39, 133, 135 and 139 E. Golf Ter., 4 and 20 E. Golf Rd. and 1675 S. Arlington Heights Road.  The ordinance was submitted to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency ("IEPA"). The IEPA asked for a clarification on the exhibits. The attached ordinance is the same in substance as what was approved in March - only the exhibits were changed in order to comply with the IEPA's request. 

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached Ordinance Prohibiting the Use of Groundwater as a Potable Water Supply by the Installation or Use of Potable Water Supply Wells or by any Other Method for the area at and adjacent to 5-39, 133, 135 and 139 E. Golf Ter., 4 and 20 E. Golf Rd. and 1675 S. Arlington Heights Road.
