The owner of 404 W. Thomas is planning on building a new residential home. In order to allow the side yard setback requirement to control the structure location, he has asked the Village to release the existing ten foot public utility easement along the east side of the property. The easement is no longer needed by the Village or any of the utility companies and he has submitted the required release of easement documentation from the utility companies.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached the Resolution Approving a Release of Easement Rights for the public utility easement located on the east side of the property located at 404 W. Thomas Avenue.
