The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) requires that all employers have an authorized agent. The authorized agent is the employee designated to perform all necessary administrative functions for IMRF on behalf of the Village. With the retirement of Jean Cook, who was the Village's authorized agent, the Village Board needs to appoint a new authorized agent.

 

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached Resolution appointing Joan P. Bokina, Employee Benefits Coordinator, as the Village's authorized agent for IMRF.
