Resident requests related to the traffic moving through the intersection at Phelps Avenue and Grove Street have suggested additional traffic control.    An incident has resulted in an evaluation of this corner.  The locations of two of the homes at the intersection encroach into the sight triangles for motorists on two of the corners.   Based upon this analysis, it is recommended to create yield signs for Phelps Avenue to yield to traffic moving along Grove Street. 

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It is recommended that the attached ordinance designating a yield right-of-way intersection, with Phelps Avenue to yield for Grove Street, be approved.
