Background

The Arlington Heights Park District is requesting a waiver of all applicable Village of Arlington Heights Planning and Building Permit fees and/or all applicable Village review fees related to the 2018 Olympic Indoor Swim Center and Park Renovatoins Project at 660 N. Ridge Avenue. The project is expected to begin early 2018 and will include improvements to the building, park, and parking lots.

The project is proposed as a $16 million project. Estimated amount of fee waiver: $176,500.00

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Village Board grant a waiver of the applicable permit fees related to the 2018 Olympic Indoor Swim Center and Park Renovations Project.
