At the March 19, 2018 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement of the workers' compensation claim for Firefighter, Mr. Kevin McDonagh. Mr. McDonagh had a series of accidents resulting in injuries to his upper and lower back while working for the Village. 

The settlement amount of $128,689.75 falls within the authorization previously granted by the Board. 

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the workers' compensation settlement for Mr. Kevin McDonagh in the amount of $128,689.75.
